About Mark Smith/Creative Digital LLC
Mark Smith registered Creative Action St. Louis in 2007 primarily as a digital marketing and graphic content provider for live music events. Working with promoters and live music venues the company's primary objective was to market concerts and events with a very short advertising window. Event advertising has short life span to sell tickets, so it is very aggressive and can be highly targeted.
2008 Creative Action St. Louis received it's first Ad Word Certification from Google and Bing and has since re-certified and obtained many other digital marketing certifications from Google, Bing and major universities.
Being in the hospitality industry I began implementing digital marketing strategies with our hotels, bars & restaurants with overwhelming success. Startups and small properties generally have tight budgets and few employees. So it was common to have a variety of titles other than digital marketing, In my case it was management titles offering skills in creatives and digital marketing. Tight budgets meant learning and researching tools necessary to make every dollar count.
Management eventually led to hotel sales and in 2018 exclusively digital marketing with management companies
Since COVID beginning July 2020 Creative Digital LLC works as a remote consultant with 20 years of hospitality experience offering digital marketing, content, site design and accounting.
